Butrana

Butrana is a microzone of small vineyards near the village of Tibaani in the municipality of Signaghi. Wine from these vineyards is used to grow cheese, so the cheese factory located here was called "Butrana."

The enterprise has a livestock farm and several food safety and quality certificates: the enterprise has implemented the HACCP standard and has a permanent recognition code from the National Food Agency and an ISO 22000 certificate

Product Assortment
In addition to traditional Georgian cheese, here you can try semi-hard and hard types of aged cheese made using European and Georgian technologies:

On request, guests can attend master classes on cheese making and, along with selected dishes from the menu, taste a variety of cheeses made with their own hands or available in the company's warehouse

What to see?
Tibaani is one of the historical villages in Kakheti. It is located in the southeast of the Gombori Range, in the Alazani Valley.

The village is rich in natural and climatic landscapes and historical and cultural monuments. The main symbol of the village is the Khirsi Monastery, founded by Saint Assyrian Father Stephane. The old name of Tibaani - "Khirsi" is also associated with the history of this monastery.
